THE AGE OF HAPPINESS.
BIBLE STUDENTS' VIEW.
A lecture entitled " Satan's Empire Falling" was delivered on Sunday evening at the Town Hall by Mr. M. A* Howlett, of New York, whose phrase " millions now living will never die" has caught, the eye, and held the attention of many. The lecturer submitted Biblical evidence in support of his assertion that within the next five years the world will enter into that 'period of .Mfe everlasting, which throughout the ages has been hoped and longed for. During the golden age that was anticipated all the legitimate desires of the natural human heart woud find fulfilment. Gradually the curse of sin and death would be removed and the blessings of joy, peace, and life would flow out to the families of the earth. Tilings had been, and were being done by the so-called Christian nations under the name of " commerce" that would make a truly consecrated follower of the lowly Naza.renc blush with shame. Another lecture will be delivered by Mr. Howlett at Scots Hall, Symonds Street, this evening. The seats are free and no collection is made.
