DOOM OF WHITE RACES.

BISHOP'S GLOOMY FORECAST.

The gloomy prediction that the white races are likely to be overthrown by the yellow, and that even if they survive western civilisation will be destroyed by the revolt of the inferior elements of the | population, was nude by Bishop Stephens jon opening the Newcastle (New South ; Wales; Anglican Synod last week. " In '. modern civilisation there is a tendency for ; the better strain of inheritance to dimin- ! ish, and for inferior strain* to increase. But from various j causes they have fewer children than the : average; whereas the class inferior in : capacity multiplies more rapidly.
