EARLY ESTABLISHMENT.
CADETS TO BE ENROLLED.
STATEMENT BY MINISTER-
[BT TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] • HAMILTON. Tuesday. The announcement has been made by the Minister for Agriculture, the Hon. W. - Nosworthy, that the Government proposes to make a start with an agricultural farm school at Ruakura. Applications would, he said, be invited from prospective cadets very soon. The department would take about 20 boys of 16 years- of age and over, and later would be able to accommodate another 20. It was proposed to start with a fee of not less than £56 a year for instruction. A message congratulating the Minister on his statement has been forwarded by the Hamilton sub-committee of the Auckland Provincial Agricultural , Educational Committee.
