TO-DAY'S FORECAST.
The Government meteorologist reported I last night as follows The indications are for westerly winds, strong to gale, ; weather unsettled and cloudy with rain probable generally; heavy rain in West Coast and Southern districts. The barometer has a falling tendency, but probably rising after from 24 to 36 hours. HERALD SPECIAL FORECAST. The following weather forecast for 24 hours from 7 a.m. yesterday was supplied to us by Mr. H. 51. Vincent last evening:—The weather is likely to be cloudy to overcast, with rain at times, particularly in Southern and West Coast districts.
