MR. FRANK GRAHAM.

Saturday, lne death occurred yesterday, following an acute attack of plexiro-pneumonia, of Mr. Frank Graham, chief goods clerk at the Hamilton railway station. Deceased first entered the railway, service at Christchurch 25 years ago. Prior to his transfer to Hamilton Mr. Graham was stationmaster •at Taupiri. He was for a term chairman of the South Auckland branch of the Railway Officers' Institute. He leaves a widow and one child. , The funeral took pi-ace this afternoon. MR. PERCY ELLIS. TAT telegraph.— correspondent.] , ' ~ • '•'"'-'■ HAMILTON. Saturday. The death occurred at Kiokio, Otorohanga, on Tuesday, of Mr. Percy Ellis, second son of Mrs. J. W. Ellis, Murisrroha, Hamilton, and of the late Mr, J. ■W. Ellis, one-time Mayor of Hamilton, at the age of 32 years. Deceased was a wellknown Hamilton resident, and as a youth was a prominent athlete and a representative Waikato footballer. Death followed 'an operation for complications associated with appendicitis. After spending some time with the firm of Ellis and Burnand in Hamilton, he took up land at Kiokio. The funeral took place at Otorohanga yesterday, and was the largest ever held in the district. People were present from Hamilton, To Awamutu, a'nd all parts of the King Country. Maori friends were in attendance in large numbers, and paid their respects in native fashion. Among tho?« present was Mr. J. A. Young, M.P. for Hamilton. Deceased left a widow and six children. j

MR, D. T. STUART. A well-known Wellington resident, Mr. D. T. Stuart, died last week in his 85th I year. The deceased was one of the i founders of the firm of Stevenson and ! Stuart, merchants, and later commenced j business on-his own account as a shtfrei broker and accountant. He retired in i 1910. Mr. Stuart -had the distinction of | being first chairman of the Wellington j Stock Exchange, and at one time waa president of the Wellington Chamber of I Commerce. He was also ono of. the i founders of the Victoria Bowling Club, ! and up till recently was an active direc- : lor of the Wellington Woollen Manufacj turing Company, Ltd.
