OTOROHANGA ACTIVITIES.
MEMORIAL TO TEACHER. UNVEILING CEREMONY. [BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] OTOROHANGA. Wednesday. A marble tablet in memory of the late Miss In a Bushnell, teacher at Otorohanga school, was unveiled by the chairman of the School Committee, the Rev. J. D. McFarlane, in the presence of a large gathering of school children and townspeople. Addresses were given by Messrs F. Phillips, H. Benner, W. H. V. Hallj and McFarlane. The Chamber of Commerce has appointed Messrs. C. Phillips. C. Zainey, and C. R. Taylor to confer with the Town Board regarding a fire brigade. A lecture on poultry-raising and eggproduction was recently given by Mr. E. C. Jarrett, Government expert, under the auspices of the Otorohanga Countv Council.
