ROYAL VICTORIAN CHAIN.
ARCHBISHOP OF YORK. Australian and NZ- Cable Association. (Reed. 6.5 p.m.) LONDON. May 1. The Royal Victorian Chain, the highest order that can be conferred for personal services to the Sovereign, has been conferred on the Archbishop of York. It is dated from the Royal Wedding Day. The only other possessors of the chaia are the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Marquis of Lansdowne. the Marquis of Crewe, the Marquis Curzon, and Lord Hardinge.
