RABBIT-PROOF FENCING.
FINANCE FOR SETTLERS. [BT TELEGRAPH. — OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TE AWAMUTU. Wednesday. The Waipa County Council has invited ratepayers to send in before next Monday an estimate of their probable requirements of wire netting for rabbit-proof fences, as the council proposes' to raise a loan for the purchase of netting, which it will retail to ratepayers on easy terms and at cost price. The scheme ha s found favour in Otorohanga County, and indications point to there being also a demand for' the same facilities in Waipa County.'
