CHARGED WITH SEDITION.
POLICE STOP A MEETING.
CONDITIONAL BAIL GRANTED By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received 4.5 p."m.) A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. May 1. • When the Irish envoys, Father O'Flanagan and J. Kelly, had' just commenced an open-air meeting at Waverley : last night, the police intervened and arrested both, also John Clancy, a collector, on a ' charge of inciting to sedition on April 22 . and other days. Accused were released on a bail of £300 each. An angry crowd followed ' the arrested men to the police station, singing Republican songs and sporting Sinn Fein flags on a motor-car.
