PAY-SHEET FRAUDS.
ONE ACCUSED ACQUITTED.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association (Reed. 9.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 23. Norman McLeod, . who with Eugene Trim, a railway construction paymaster, and William Gunner, was charged with defrauding the Railway Commissioners by putting the names of fictitious persons on pay sheets and drawing pay for them, was acquitted. The case against the other accused has not concluded.
