SERIOUS CHARGES.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] /, : • DUNEDIN. Thursday. A middle-aged married woman, named Ruth Kate Cranefield, whose name had previously been suppressed by order of the Court, was charged on two counts in the Police Court before Mr. J. R. Bartholomew, S.M., with using instruments on two girls, with intent to procure miscarriage. The Court was cleared and an order made prohibiting publication of, the names of the female witnesses. ° After lengthy evidence had been heard, the accused was committed foe trial, and admitted to bail*
