TIMBER WORKER KILLED.

FATALITY AT MERCER.

INSTANTANEOUS DEATH.

A fatal accident occurred at Roose's timber mill, Mercer, on Monday morning, a mill hand, Mr. Hans Victor Olsen, being killed. Mr. Olsen was working in the mill when he was struck in the chest by a heavy piece of timber, which flew off the teeth of a circular saw. Among other severe injuries, his heart was ruptured, death being instantaneous. An inquest was held yesterday' before the coroner, Ifr. R. F. Webster, who returned a verdict of accidental death. A sad circumstance is that Mr. Olsen. who was 23 years of age, was just about to be married.
