MAN FALLS TRAIN.

ESCAPES UNSCATHED.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Monday. A narrow escape from death occurred on the Frankton-Thames line on Saturday, when a man, a resident of Waihi, fell from a converted truck in the special train returning from the Ngaruawahia regatta. The train had gone some distance before the driver could be apprised of the accident. ' After an hour's search the man was found unhurt. ... As a result of the happening, the train service on the line was temporarily disorganised. The second train from Paeroa was delayed for an hour and a-half at Te Aroha.
