WIRELESS IN CHINA.
FOREIGN STATIONS BARRED.
AMERICANS REFUSED PERMIT.

The Chinese Government has refused to permit the Westinghouse Corporation to erect a wireless station or import wireless materials , into China because wireless apparatus, being contraband of war, is subject. to seizure under the Washington Conference Treaties, which asserted China's right to prohibit foreign Powers from installing wireless stations.
