PLOT AGAINST FREE STATE.
ORGANISATION IN BRITAIN
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received 4.5 p.m.) LONDON. March 12
The Home Secretary. Mr. VY. C. Bridgeman, replying to Mr. Ramsay Macdonald, Leader of the Labour Party in the House of Commons, said that 'the Irish men and women who had been arrested had been interned in Ireland, under the Restoration of Order in Ireland regulations. There had been a. progressive increase in Republican activities in England. The Government was in possession of evidence, indicating the existence of a quasi-military organisation, which was co-operating with the Irish irregulars to overthrow the Free State.
The House agreed to discuss the question on the motion for the adjournment.
