FIGURES FOR FEBRUARY.
DECLINE IN EXPORTS. A- and N.Z. LONDON. Merch 12. British imports in February showed an increase in value of £14,470,198, compared with February last year. Exports decreased by £825,206, and re-exports by £350,837. The principal increases 'of imports were: Grain and flour, £2,425,555; meat, £2,788,642; and raw cotton, £2,472,659. Increases of exports were: Coal, £2,401,590; cotton, yams, and manufactures, £1,079,739; woollen ditto. £1,126,696. Most notable of the decreases in imports were dutiable food and drinks, £2,422.057, and in exports, vehicles, £6,923.561.
