CARNIVAL ART UNION. FIRST PRIZE, £300. In an announcement which appeared in the New Zealand Herald yesterday, a mistake occurred in the amount of the first prize in the Art Union which is being run in connection with tha Auckland Summer Carnival by permission' of the Minister for Internal Affairs. The. correct amount of the first prize is £300; the second prize is £1,00; and the third prize is £50. All these prizes consist of alluvial gold, which will be paid over to the winners by the National Bank of New Zealand. The tickets are Is each, and can be obtained in all parts of the city, including the Carnival Offices, 164, Queen Street.—(Advt.)
