TOURNAMENT AT PONSONBY.
A tournament will be held at the Ponaonby Bowling Club's green this evening Tho draw is as follows:— Section -Bridges (Grey Lynn) v. Dennison (Dominion Road); Murdoch (Takapuna) v. J. Jury (Ponsonby). Section B.—Dick (Grey Lynn) v. Pearce (Rocky Nook) Packman (Carlton) v. Julian (Mount Eden). The section winners, E. Jury and Bray, in the tournament commenced on Monday, will play off at a later date.
AUCKLAND TOURING TEAM.
SOUTH AUCKLAND DEFEATED. [BV telegraph.— correspondent.] HAMILTON, Tuesday. Eight rinks of bowlers representing the Auckland Bowling Centre visited Hamilton yesterday., and met South Auckland rinks on the Hamilton Club's green. The visitors won on the aggregate by 19 points.
