The Southern steamer Opihi is timed to sail at 8 p.m. to-day for Whangarei, liydist Bay, and Lyttelton. The Nobel Explosive Company's auxiliary •chooner lluia, -which ha* been undergoing overhaul at Auckland, sailed yesterday afternoon for Awanni to load a cargo of timber for Melbourne. The Gisborue Sheopfarmers' steamer Tiroa sailed at mid-day yesterday for Hicks Bay and Gisborn*. The steamers' Southern Cross and Ranadi and the barquentine Ysabel -will come out of dock this morning. Tho three vessels will be berthed at the Western Wharf. The barquentine Lindstol is expected to arrive at Auckland from Kcpu to-morrow to undergo hor usual survey. The Union Company's steamer Kaimanawa arrived early yesterday morning from Weslport and l>erthed at the Central Wharf to discharge her cargo of coal. She is expected to sail to-morrow night for Weitport. The Arnhura sailed yesterday afternoon for Tokomaru Bay, Gishorne, and Napier. She is du<9 back at Auckland on Sunday. KATOA FOR DUNEDIN DIRECT. The Katoa arrived cany yesterday from Woiithern ports and herthed at. the King's vvnari to discharge her cargo of produce and general merchandise. The Union Company advises that the vessel ban been fixed to sail on Inday for Dunedin direct. VVAIWRRA L WAVES LONDON. The Shaw, Savi!l „, lf | Albion steamer Waiwera sailed from London on March 9 for Auckland. Nelson and New Plymouth. She la due hero about April 20. JERSEY CITY DUE MONDAY. The Reardon Smith Line steamer Jersey City is due at Auckland at daybreak on Monday from Southern ports to complete loading. This is the vessel's final port and she' will be despatched for London' and Hull, via Capetown. TAINUI CLEARED SOUTHAMPTON. Tho Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Tainui, after loading at London, sailer! from Southampton on March 7 with passengers for New Zealand. Her cargo is for discharge a- Wellington, Lyttelton, ami Port Chalmers. She is duo at Wellington about April 15. THE KIA OR A. The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Kia Or.i arrived at Wellington from Waitara on Monday. She ia to leave Wellington on Friday for London, via Mouto Video and Teneriffe. THE WAIT EM ATA. The Union Company's steamer Waitemala i* loading a cargo of coal at Newcastle for Java. She will subsequently go to Calcutta. Singapore, arid Samarang to load Indian produce for Auckland. SCHOONER REPORTED. The lighthouse-keeper at Cape Maria rePotted that a schooner from South passed east .it 11.30 a.m. yesterday. She will Probably be the Zita, en route from Hokianga to Kopu and Auckland.
THE HATIPARA. The "Union Company advices that the British India steamer Hatipara is now to leave Auckland on Friday for Dunedin direct.
THE MAKTJRA'S BERTH. The Royal Mail steamer Makura. which is due at Auckland to-morrow afternoon from Vancouver, will berth at the Central Wharf to land the- New Zealand passengers, mails and cargo. MANAIA AT NORTHERN WHARF. Owing to the Central Wharf being fully occupied, tho Northern Company's steamer Manaia will borth at the west side of the Northern Wharf when she arrives from Whangarei this morning. The vessel will be despatched from the same wharf for Whangarei at 10 p.m. to-day. HURUNUI ARRIVES TO-NIGHT. The New Zealand Shipping Company's j steamer Hurunui, en route from Liverpool I to Auckland, has reported by wireless that she will arrive at Auckland at midnight tonight. She will berth at the Queen's Wharf I after the steamer Trevessa has vacated a berth there. The Hurunui's cargo is for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. THE CANADIAN CRUISER. The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Cruiser, en route from Hnlifax. via Australian ports, is due at Lyttelton this morning from Adelaide. From Lyttelton tho vessel will go to Bluff and then come to Auckland, via Coast ports. She. is due here about the beginning of April, and will load at this port for Papeete, New York, Boston, and Montreal. THE CANADIAN PLANTER. Tho Canadian Government steamer Canadian Planter, en route from Halifax, via Australian »nd Southern port?, was expected to leave Wellington yesterday for Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland. Tho vessel is duo hero about Monday, when she will discharge a quantity of cargo for this port and afterwards load, for New York. Boston, and Halifax. THE TREVESSA. The Hain steamer Trevessa 6004 tons. Captain C. Foster, arrived from New York yesterday morning, and berthed at the Queen's Wharf. The vessel's cargo was loaded at St. John, N. 8., Sydney, Cape Breton, and New York. Fin© weather was experienced from New York until about three days from New Zealand, when the wind blew strongly from the southward. From Auckland the Trevessa will go to Wellington. Lyttelton, Timani, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney. She will probably resume her voyage to-morrow. MANUKA IN PORT. The Union Company's intercolonial steamer Manuka arrived from Sydney at noon yesterday, and after medical inspection in the stream berthed at the Central Wharf. The vessel sailed from Sydney at 11 a.m. on Thursday, and experienced exceptionally fine weather on the trip. Besides passengers «nd mails, the steamer brought over 600 tons of cargo including the following items:—7os chests tea, 60 bales seagrass, 52 bundles rattans. 27 cases soap, 81 cases glassware. 100 cases canned fruit 3478 pieces timber, 50 bales bamboo blinds, 170 cases wine. 36 bags peanuts, 56 drums white spirit, 75 pieces stone, 143 crates empty bottles, 72 sacks seed. 140 cases sugar. 420 sacks bonedust, 551 bags coke 367 hags broken glass: as well as transhipments ex th« following vessels:— Aki Mar;, Kanna, Bulla, Dimboola, Goulburn. Villa de Verdun. Holstein, Narknnda. \vyandraz. and Burwall. The vessel is timed to sail for Sydney at 11 a.m. on Friday.
