FUND MOUNTING UP.

SUM OF £113,000 IN HAND.

Additional donations to the Auckland War Memorial Fund bring the total sum on fixed deposit at the bankers to £113,000. The balance promised is timed for payment over the next two years. The Mayor, Mr. J. H. Gunson, stated yesterday that during the past week four donations each of £500 had been received, one of £200, and several of £100.
