DRIFTING BUOY SIGHTED. [BY TELEGRAPH.PKE3S ASSOCIATION.} . WELLINGTON, Sunday. The Secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department received the following navigation warning sent out from Adelaide by radio at 4.30 a.m. on Sunday, The steamer Poor.a, on March 9, at 8.30 a.m., sighted a light buoy with an iron frame superstructure and platform adrift in latitude 36deg. 38min. south longitude 106deg. 6min. east approximately. The buoy and superstructure platform bottom were covered with marine growths. There was no trace of markings. The buoy is dangerous to navigation.
