KNOCKED DOWN BY MOTOR.

WOMAN SEVERELY INJURED. ANOTHER SLIGHTLY HURT. A motor-car accident in which two women were injured occurred at the junction of Ka.angahape Road and Pitt Street about 8.30 last evening, with the result that Mrs. Margaret Sexton, of Lake Road, Takapuna, was admitted to the hospital. Mrs. Sexton and Mrs. Blythe, of Takapuna, were crossing the street to join a tramcar, when they were both knocked down by a motor. Mrs. Sexton sustained severe injuries to her head, and was admitted to the hospital. Mrs. Blythe was not so badly hurt, and was able to return to her home.
