THEFT BY A BUSHMAN. : / TWELVE MONTHS' PROBATION. ? The theft of a suitcase and con tenia, valued at £15, was admitted by a bushman, Michael George McMollen, aged 68, in the Police Court yesterday before Mr. J. W. Poynton, S.M. In a statement to Detective Barling accused admitted ;havVf~. ■ ing taken the suitcase from a porch near a shop in Hobson Street, where ! it had <f, bern left by the owner, a girL Accused ■ ' had been drinking. ■ - ;? .t- : N 7 Chief Detective McUveney said that ■-! property valued at £10 had been v recov- " " ered.
