Each division has two establishments, on the frontier and in the interior, and their respective ration strengths are 8700 and 6721. There- are 39 such divisions, of which three or four are in Turkestan, one in Georgia, one in Azerbaijan, one in Armenia, two in the Far East. Between 40 and 50 batteries j of heavy artillery are scattered about. j The Bolsheviks have greatly progressed j in aviation, and are in possession oi many j modern British and Italian machines of high standard.
