Nominations for eight events close on March 20, The Putaruru Athletic Club will , also hold a sports gathering on Easter Monday. Nominations ■ close on March 17. < The Mareretu and Railway combined sports will be held at McCarroll's paddock, Mareretu, on Thursday, March 22. A special train service to and from Whangarei connecting with the steamer for Auckland, will be run.
