ON A BIG SCALE. THE AUCKLAND CARNIVAL. The- magnitude upon which this week of festivity has been planned is shown in the fact that the Railway Department and shipping companies will make excursions' from all over New Zealand, while Auckland is preparing to welcome 20,000 visitors. Every day and night for a week there will be a, crowded programme—the carnival will be conducted on a scale which will compare favourably with similar events in the Old World. You simply must come. Carnival commences Saturday, March 17. Secure rooms in good time through Accommodation Bureau, Carnival Offices, 164, Queen Street, Auck(Advu).
