GOLDEN WEDDING.

MR. AND MRS. AMOORE.

The golden wedding of Mr. and Mrs. E. 0. Amoore took place recently at their residence,. 17, Kenneth Avenue, Morningside. Mrs. Amoore, with her parents, landed at Dunedin in 1870, and Mr. Amoore the following year. They were married at Cromwell in 1873, and spent several years in that then flourishing goldmining district. Removing to the North Island in 1877, they settled ■first at Wainui-o-mata, Wellington, afterwards making their home at Ngaire, in Taranaki. After a residence of 16 years in the latter place, they removed in 1902 to Tirau, coming to Morningside four years ago. \
