PRESENTATION.

A presentation to Mr. and Mrs. Hogti Wright, who are leaving by the Niagara to-day for a holiday in Europe, was made ' on Saturday at a valedictory function tendered by the staff of Hugh Wright, Ltd. ; Mr. Wright was presented with ft ease of pipes and Mrs. Wright with a writing ,5 wallet. In making the presentations, the general manager, Mr. L. O'Malley, re* ferred to the cordial relations existing between Mr. Wright and the - staff, and wished Mr. and Mrs. Wright aa enjoy- !. able voyage. Mr. Wright, in resporuie, " expressed the hope that he would find the ; ; same staff happy in their positions when .Tihe returnod from abroad. The usual toasts were honoured, and several musical items were rendered by members of ' the staff. • Tbe singing of , "Ai»d Lang Syne" brought a pleasant function to a close*. . %%
