SWEEPING ALLCGATPONS.
LONDON, Feb. 23. Drinking, drug-taking, assaults with ( a toilet file and safety razor, and giving t him a black eye, as well as scratching : him, were among the allegations made against his wife by Mr. Tom Furness, who . is a cousin of Viscount Furness, in the ! Divorce Court to-day, when the wife | sought a decree for tho restitution of conjugal rights. Mr. Furness cross-petitioned for divorce, ! alleging misconduct with a well-known : I dancer. " | I The parties were married in 1919 in j j New York, the wife being a film actress. I i They came to London in August, 1919, 1 and lived in the est End until 1922, j when the husband loft, alleging that his j health was unable to stand the strain of ! living with her. j j He testified that his butler was the j j only man able to manage his wife when > i she was under the influence of drink. j Cross-examined, he admitted he had I many Bohemian friends in London. Ho j and his wife had spent £120,000 in three i j years.
