Thus eye-witnesses describe Miss Raymond, the daughter of the British Consul. Miss Raymond went to a typhus camp at Corfu | nix weeks ago, when the epidemic resulted in panic among nurses and doctors. Although eight doctors had died in three weeks, Miss Raymond took control, 1 and has since worked day and night, risking her life continually. Practically single-handed, she fought against the disease, at last proving successful.
