FIJI AND N.Z. SECTION.
CIRCULAR TO SHAREHOLDERS
A proposal that the Fiji and New Zealand section of the Colonial Sugar Refining Company, Ltd., should be wound up voluntarily and the business . again vested in the Australian Company, has been conveyed to shareholders in a circular. **"
The circular states:— course of events in connection with our interests in Fiji makes it desirable that the business of this company be again vested in the I Australian Company, and your board has therefore come to the conclusion that steps should be taken forthwith for the liquidation of the company, which can be effected * without delay, as short-dated investments now held are sufficient to pay the present capital and' interest thereon to tho date of payment." Notice vis given of an extraordinary general meeting of the company to be eld in Sydney on March 7 for the purpose of considering a resolution that the company be wound up voluntarily, and j appointing Mr. E. W. Knox, of Sydney, I liquidator. • A confirmatory meeting mil be held in Sydney on March 28. "
