FARMERS' UNION TOUR.
VISIT TO BAY OF PLENTY.
A tour of the Botorua, Waiotapu, and Bay of Plenty districts will be commenced on Monday by members of the provincial executive of the Farmers' Union. The party will include the president, Mr. R. D. Duxfield, Messrs. F. Colbeck, A. E. Harding, A. A. Ross, and C. C. Monro. Meetings will be held at various centres, and addresses will be delivered on subject# of special interest to farmers, including taxation, agricultural banking, co-opera-tive marketing,' farmers and politic*, •organisation, and finance. The first meeting will be held at Botorua on Monday evening, and the folio*: ing day the party will visit Waiotapo. - Bay of Plenty centres, including OpotDcj* Whakatane, Tauranga, and Te Puke w"j be visited in turn. Matters relating w the Union and the suggested establish-.; ment of a sub-provincial executive for tbfl Bay of Plenty will also be discussed.
