RAILWAYS AND PUBLIC.

THE COMMERCIAL AGENTS.

" The action of the Government in appointing Mr. Grant and Mr. Mason commercial agents for the North and South Islands of the New Zealand Railways is a step in the right direction," said Mr. E. H. Wyles in his presidential address to the Dominion Conference of the New Zealand Federation of Drapers and Clothiers in Wellington. " These two gentlemen are both able men, and fully competent to deal with the varied questions which will b brought before them. They are throwing themselves very earnestly into their work, and the two gentlemen who have been appointed can be assured of the fullest co-operation and support of the business community."
