Gregory is selected to play against the M.C.C. team there is every indication that he will show a complete recovery of form. Playing for a combined first-grade team against the City and Suburban Association, he scored 125 runs in 50 minutes, his score including seven 6's and 15 4's, and 33 off one over. He also took three wickets for four runs.
