LOYAL AFRICAN CHIEF. SIXTY YEARS A CHRISTIAN. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 9.5 p.m.) CAPETOWN. Feb. 21. The death has occurred of King Khama, at the age of 95, one of the most famous native chiefs in the history of South Africa. He embraced Christianity 60 years ago and became the paramount chief in Bechuanaland ten years later. He had a long and honourable record of loyalty to the British Crown.
