TO-DAY'S FORECAST. GOVERNMENT REPORT. ... The Government meteorologist reported last night as follows —The indications are for strong west to south-west winds, with changeable and showery weather generally. The barometer is rising everywhere. < MR. K. K vVRAGGE'S FORECAST. ; The following weather forccasC was supplied to us by Mr. K. K. Wragge at nine o'clock last evening:—The rear side of the disturbance, Eulalia, continues to operate along the eastern seaboard) and is showing remarkable energy for this time of year. High pressure is approaching the Dominion from the northwestj and its eastern edge acts as a condensing factor to the vapours of the Antarctic "low." This distribution of pressure implies cloudy weather, with passing south-westerly showers, mitigated, however, by intervals, of increasing duration, iof finer conditions. Southerly squalls, ' with cold conditions, are likely, with inI crease of latitude along the east coast. Rough seas. RAINFALL RECORD.
