PROTECTION OF TRAINS.
GERMAN HOSTAGES CARRIED. ' Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 12.6 a.m.) PARIS, Feb. 13. A noteworthy step toward the reestablishment of railway traffic in the Rhineland is the assumption of control by Franco-Belgian railway commissioners of the entire Rhineland and Ruhr railways. With a view to ending sabotage German hostages will in future be placed alongside French and Belgian enginedrivers on all trains.
