UNEMPLOYED TEACHERS.

Sir,—l v have been given to understand that quite a number of teachers from the Training College have; as yet been unable to seouae positions, and are consequently among the "unemployed.", - If such be th© case, do you not think that many of the married "women who are teaching, and whose husbands are earning a good salary, should make: way for these teachers? In many oases we have husband and wife teaching in one school. Surely there is no necessity for this, and ic would be better in every'way for the wives to gracefully retire. I trust that the Education Board will, at its next meeting, decide that all married women whose husbands can support them be given notice of the termination of their engagement. Justice.
