FIRE BRIGADES AT OHURCH. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORTUC3PONDSSNT.] ... TE AROHA. Monday. The Morrinsville and To Aroha fire brigades combined yesterday for a church parade, a large muster under Superintendents Canton (Morrinsville) and Pilkington (Te Aroha), and headed by the Municipal Band, attending St. David's Presbyterian Church. In the afternoon the visiting firemen were entertained at a river excursion, a launch taking the party several miiles up the Waihou River. A very successful garden party was held in St. Mark's vicarage grounds on Saturday, and a dance in the evening, the proceeds being donated by the Ladies' Guild to the Mangaiti Hall fund in appreciation of the help always so willingly given guild efforts by the people of Mangaiti.
