ITALY'S DICTATOR.

A' CROM'WELLIAN SPEECH. RELATIONS WITH ALLIES. UNITED POLICY in EAST. By Telegraph— Press Association Copyright. (Received 9.5 p.m.) A. and N.Z. ROME, Feb. 11. Signor Mussolini, speaking in the Chamber of Deputies, declared that he refused to permit general discussions. " There is nothing to discuss in home policy," he said. " What occurs happens according to my precise, direct will on my grim orders, . for which I am alone directly responsible. It is therefore useless to attack officials or the Administration. The difference between a Liberal and Fascist State is that the latter is not content to defend itself, but will attack the enemies of Fascismo, who must not be surprised if they find themselves imprisoned." Referring to foreign affairs, Signor Mussolini said that the Entente remained united in reference to the Near East, where Italy could not have adopted a different policy. As regarded the Ruhr situation, France had not asked for further evidence of Italian solidarity. If she did Italy would raise the whole question of Franco-Italian relations. Signor Mussolini added that Italy had not suffered by the Ruhr crisis, but continued to receive the normal quantity of coal. She had received 134,000 tons between January 15 and February 8.
