Investment stocks again had good demand on the Auckland sharemarkot yesterday. In i Government loans there was sustained inquiry for bonds and inscribed stock at £97. Soldiers' Loans (both issues) were wanted at £100 10s, holders of the bonds quoting at £100 15s. Auckland Gas debentures, 6£ per cent., were sought at £103, no sellers responding. Local bodies' debentures "were also in firm demand at, about recent rates. In banks Australasias had buyers at £13 6s, sellers £13 12s. New. South Wales at £38' were looked for at £37 ss. New Zealands had inquiry at 66s 9d, sellers 57s 6d, Unions of Australia changed hands at £14, more being wanted at Is less, with sellers at £14 2s 6d, In insurances New Zealands sold at 28s 3d, sellers closing at 28s 6d, buyers at 28s. Nationals were inquired for at 725, and Standards at 33s 9d, no sellers quoting. South British were offered at 38s 3d. In gaß Aucklands (con.) were done at 24s 6d, and ill coals Taupiris (ord.) had sale at 20s 6d. In shipping Northern Steams (paid up) sold at 13s 4d. In miscellaneous lines business ■was done in New, Zealand Milk Products at 26s 3d. In mining a parcel of Moanataiaris sold at 3s 9d, late sellers asking 4s, with buyers at 3s Bd. Waihis had fellers at 31s 6d, buyers 31s. Grand Junctions at 93 5d were looked for at 9s <-d New Waiotahis changed hands at lid, more being wanted at lOd, with sellers at ll^d. The following sales took place:— Bank of Australia, £14; New Zealand Insurance, 28s 3d; Taupiri Coal (or*!.), 20s 6d; Auckland Gas (con.), 24s 6d; Northern \ Steamship (paid up) 133 4d; New Zealand Milk Products, 26s 3d; Moanataiari 3s 9d; New Waiotahi, lid.
