BANKRUPT FARMERS.
NO FURTHER ACTION. The adjourned meeting of creditors in the estates of Paul and Catherine Matilda Colly «*•, farmers, was held yesterday, the official assignee, Mr. W. S. Fisher, presiding. Secured debts in the estates amount | to £9760 and unsecured . debts: bring the j total liabilities to £10,840. Nearly all the | assets .are the securities, which are valued j at £14,268. Bankrupts are husband and ! wife. Under .examination, Paul Collyer denied that he had any interest in a gold mine at Coromandel. A committee reported on the prospects of realising a heavily-mortgaged property at Ellerßlie. It was decided to take no further action in the matter.
