U.S. SHIP SUBSIDY BILL.
PRESIDENT URGES PASSAGE. A. and N.Z. WASHINGTON, Feb. 7. The President, in his message to Congress, urged the passage of the Ship Subsidy Bill, declaring that Congress had lime to dispose of both it and the British debt funding agreement, even allowing for much debate. He said that both measures were inseparably related to America's good fortunes at home and to her high place in the world.
