CATTLE-BREEDER'S ACTION.
NEIGHBOUR'S BULL KILLED.

At the Pahiatua Magistrate's Court. Daniel Buckley, farmer, of Rakaunui, was fined £5 for wilfully damaging a Jersey bull, the property of a neighbouring farmer.
It was stated that there had been feeling between the parties. Buckley was a breeder of Polled Angus cattle and he said that a scrub bull got among his heifers on Boxing Day. The accused drove the bull to his yard and operated upon the animal, which bled to death. Full restitution had been made.
The magistrate said the accused was not justified in taking such drasVio action and it could not be tolerated. ■
