SYDNEY, Feb. 4.
Senator Gardiner, Deputy-Leader of the Federal Labour Party, in an ".-, interview, strongly condemned the action of the Governor-General in empowering Mr. S. M. Bruce, whom ho described as the representative of the discredited remnant of the Nationalist Party, to form a Government. In doing so, and in not sending for the Leader of the Opposition, Lord Forster had departed from a. century-old custom.
