Sir, Though we have already too many race days wo find the country racing dubs holding their meetings in Auckland. [I fcubmit that this, is an evasion of the principle tinder which per-, mits to hold meetings were granted to the. various clubs. Unless the business coramuaity protest, the Government will proSh-ihly "wink the other eye," as more i,a:i money will be available for our hard Treasury. But there should be a strong protest against these extra days of racing. Already we have far too much of U to the disorganisation oi legitimate business sv.id industry and to the ruination/ financially and morally, of many of our people. Reason.
