REPORTS OF RUM-RUNNING. LONDON, Jbtj. 6. The arrest arid conviction of. two stamen fpr stealing 70 bottles of •whisky fro la a schoon&r on New Year's Day ir, Rothesay Bay leads to the belie* that the vessel was engaged in running whisky and rum to the United States. Some of the crew say that' the schooner was previously engaged in smuggling on the American coast, and assert that they were issued with revolvers when Hearing American waters. Further proceedings are pending.
