The Government steamer Tutanekai will firrive from the Gulf to-morrow, and will berth at the Queen's Wharf. She will take in stores on Monday, and will- leave on Tuesday on the annual visit of inspection of the Northern lighthouses. The Richardson steamer Awahou is expected t<s (.arrive at. Auckland on Monday from Gisborne and is to go on the slip. The Mako is working up the East Coast and will call at Tanranga for. railway waggons, to be shipped to Wairoa. She is expected to arrive at Auckland about the middle of next week, and will load a limited quantity of general cargo for the East Coast. The Federal steamer Kent, wow loading frozen" and dairy produce for" London ' will; leave for Opua on Tuesday afternoon to lift more cargo. She ia expected to return to Auckland toward the end of the week to •complete loading, and will leave for London about January 23. The Federal steamer Westmoreland, which arrived from Liverpool on Wednesday with a cargo of .general merchandise, is expected to leave for Wellington and Southern ports about-next Wednesday, to continue discharge of her cargo.

NAVUA LEAVES FOE Fin. The Union Company's Island steamer Navua sailed at 6.35 p.m. yesterday with passengers, mails, and cargo, for Fiji. Tonga, and Samoa. WIARUNA v DUE THIS MORNING. The - Wairuna is duo at Auckland from Sun Francisco, at 10 a.m. to-day. with general merchandise from Pacific Coast ports, She will berth at the King's Wharf. MATINGANUI LEAVES SYDNEY. The Eoyal Mail steamer Maunganui left Sydney for "Wellington and San Francisco at 11.45 a.m. yesterday. She is due at Wellington'on Monday .and will resume her voyage the following day. SUFFOLK AT AUCKLAND. The Federal steamer Suffolk arrived from Gisborne yesterday afternoon, and berthed at .the Queen's Wharf to complete loading for New York and ports on the West Coast of England. She will leave next week with a large frozen and general cargo. RUAPEHU AT WELLINGTON. ' . The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruapehu arrived at Wellington at* 4 p.m. yesterday, with passengers and cargo from London and Southampton. • Her cargo is for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. Her Auckland passengers should reach here by the Main Trunk express to-morrow morning. MARAMA TO SAIL TO-DAY. The M?.rama is scheduled to sail at. 11 e.m. to-day, with passengers and cargo for ydney, where she is due on Tuesday. THE PAFARO.V. The New Zealand Shipping Company's uteamer Paparoa sailed from London on Wednesday for Auckland and Wellington. She is due hero about February 26. THE RUAHINE. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruahine, which left Wellington with passengers and cargo for London on November 22 arrived at her destination on January 4. PORT ELLIOTT FROM LONDON. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line eteamer Port Elliott, 10,950 tons. Captain A, T. Fishwick, which left London on November 20, arrived early yesterday morning, and went to an anchorage off Sfotuihi Is- j land to discharge 240 tons of explosives. \ She is expected to come to Auckland this ' afternoon to discharge 3700 tons of general cargo. The remainder of her cargo is for Napier and Wellington. The vessel experienced an uneventful voyage. She brought the following passengers:— Rev. G. Robeon, Mrs. Robson and ■ child, Mrs* J. Pullon and child. Colonel E. V. Fox. .Colonel W. W. White, and Mr. H. G. Fitzgerald. GLAUCUS REACHES AUCKLAND. The Australian steamer Glaucue, Captain W. E. Reynolds, arrived from Surprise Island at four o'clock yesterday morning, and berthed at the King's Wharf to discharge 1650 tons of guano. The vessel left Auckland on November 18 for Sydney with a cargo of glaxo for transhipment at the latter port. She then loaded coal at Newcastle for Noumea, and also took stores and provisions to Walpole Island. The Glaucus arrived at Surprise Island on December 20. discharged a quantity of coal, and loaded. Bhe left Surprise Island on January 2, and cleared Noumea, on tTsiriuary 5. Fine weather was experienced throughout tho trip, which wa» uneventful.

CANADIAN; GOVERNMENT LINE. The v Canadian Government steamer Canadian Pioneer arrived at Bluff at 2.30 p.m. yesterday from Montreal, via Australian ports, herdaat port in Australia being Adelaide. The vessel will call at Southern sorts and is expected to reach Auckland about January 23. , The Canadian Traveller sailed, from Vancouver for Auckland and Australian ports on January 6, and is due, at Auckland about February 1 ' 4. ~,,./ The Canadian Explorer. _ which left Auckland on November 10, arrived at Boston on January 7. __ BY TELEGRAPH.
