Only two settlers lin ; the ; Opouriao Valley have cut their hay, while- the others . are waiting for more favourable 1 conditions. The prices being received for.dairy produce are considered to be very satis.factory, and, in fact, much higher than most farmers and others engaged in the ! industry : had. anticipated would be ob? tained.
