REVIVAL OF MINING.

KARANGAHAKE ENTERPRISE. ! [BY TELEGRAPH.— CORRESPONDENT.] V7AIHI. • Saturday. An important, revival of mining is indicated at Karangahake, where a syndicate is taking over the Talisman property (wound up by voluntary liquidation), with the object 'of raising capital to develop the parallel system of the Crown and Talisman mines. Since the Talisman Company ceased operations tributing on a big reef formation from an adit level has been carried on. Much is expected from development of the parallel reef system at Karangahake. A prospecting syndicate controlling the new Waitekauri claim at Waitekauri is also preparing to continue the low level crosscut, in v;hich two reefs have already been intersected. These, operations, in conjunction with improved conditions at Waihi, should usher in a new lease of life for' the mining industry in Ohinemuri.
